This is a regular verb. It follows the conjugation pattern of the verb falar.
In both Brazilian and European Portuguese, economizar and poupar can be used to mean 'to save money'. In Portugal, poupar tends to be more common in everyday speech.
Present:
A Ana economiza dinheiro todo mês.
A Ana economiza dinheiro todos os meses.
Ana saves money every month.
Preterite:
O Miguel economizou muito no ano passado.
Miguel saved a lot last year.
Future:
(Ela) economizará mais no próximo ano.
She will save more next year.
